It’s a one-of-a-kind experience where you’ll get to choose an extremely unique accommodation, in the heart of Mexico’s biggest wine country, and get ready for the experience of a lifetime—all without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. Glamping is a way to connect with your surroundings without having to rough it.
In Lumi we have six tents that are completely set up for and all year-round accommodation, 5 of the tents are for two people and have a king size bed and one tent is for four and has two queen size beds. They all have the same comfy beds as our container rooms, but let you have a deeper engagement with one’s surroundings while sleeping in the midst of our olive and lemon trees. All the tents have natural ventilations and a ventilator to keep the fresh air circulating, and also an electric heater for the winter months. We wanted to create an option here in Valle that is a little lighter on one’s wallet but still gives you a true experience and a good night’s sleep after enjoying the wineries and restaurants close by.
Each tent has it’s own fire pit area infront of the tent. You are welcome to bring your own firewood, but we do sell it as well here for easier access. In any case our night guard is always happy to help you get the fire started. Our bicycles are also free to use during your stay.
Since we are a hotel with a Finnish touch, our glamping guests are welcome to use our Finnish sauna and jacuzzi which are in a separate building after 8pm on a shared turn -just like the Finns do.
Next to the tent area is the bathroom building that has two sides: one side is for men and has two showers, 2 toilets, the other side is for women and has two showers and 3 toilets.
For our glamping guests we always include morning coffee that we bring to the tent.
